The following 8 roles are essential to KCCA’s operations.

Administrative Volunteer
Takes minutes at meetings
Sends out a monthly e-mail after each meeting
Updates the calendar on the website
Makes Facebook events
Posts updates on the Facebook page
Makes sure the agenda is set for the next meeting (see Sample Agenda)

Volunteer Recruiter
Sets up orientations
Makes or arranges classroom visits
Keeps volunteer list current
Keeps up with volunteers
Registers KCCA as an intern site at more universities
Seeks out and attends tabling events

Blogger
Writes posts and gets people to write posts on our website/blog
Keeps documents on website current
Keeps all content on website up-to-date
Ensures active volunteers and partners have Robot accounts
Ensures events are entered and updated in the Robot

Party Planner
Plans parties and social events
Gets people to come to social events
Coordinates having fun things at meetings

Partner Coordinator
Gets in touch with people who need childcare
Ensures events are bottom-lined
Establishes and maintains rapport with partner organizations

Treasurer
Keeps up with the budget
Creates monthly financial reports for meetings (what we have, what we need)
Brainstorms for fundraisers

ICCC Liaison
Helps with ICCC website
Keeps in contact with ICCC on projects
Responds to ICCC emails
Attends conference calls
Gives monthly report-backs

Meeting Facilitator
Keeps time at meetings
Facilitates meetings
Sends reminders to people right before meetings
Gets report-backs from organizers if they can’t attend meetings
